Two Bristol vistas named among top-10 best views in the UK

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Feb 24, 2021

The views from two Bristol vantage points have been named as among the best in the UK.

The twist is that all of these views, from Edinburgh to Cornwall, can be enjoyed from the comfort of a park bench.

The team at home and garden supplier Haddonstone trawled thousands of TripAdvisor reviews, analysing the number of mentions of ‘best view’, ‘best views’, ‘amazing view’ and ‘amazing views’.

Nicola Clements, marketing manager at Haddonstone, said that parks and green spaces “have been a saviour during lockdown”.

She said: “The outdoors is proven to help uplift our mental health and wellbeing, and for many of us our daily walk or run has been the highlight of our day.

“That’s why we did this research, to find the UK’s best-loved scenery and stunning views which can be enjoyed from a bench to enjoy the British countryside.”
