Two for one wine at KASK: Perk of the day, October 4

By Meg Houghton-Gilmour  Tuesday Oct 3, 2023

Bristol24/7 is 100 per cent independent, and we would not be able to enact our journalism, social impact and all of our other work without the support of our community. Our supporter members pay £5 a month or £45 a year and are a crucial part of ensuring that Bristol has an independent local media voice for years to come.

To say thank you to our members for their support, we give them ‘perks’ – freebies, discounts and competitions – such as free pints, discounts at some of our favourite restaurants, cruise giveaways (yes, you read that right) and more with some of Bristol’s finest businesses.

This October, we’ve got a different perk for every single day of the month.

Day four brings us one of our long standing and most popular perks – two for one wine at Kask on North Street. Kask is a bar and garden on North St, BS3, serving organic wine, local beer and cider, and cheese and charcuterie pairings.

The wines they love and serve are from small, independent producers who tend to see themselves as farmers rather than winemakers. They farm sustainably (the vast majority organically), using natural solutions not chemicals.

Some adopt biodynamic practices and many create their wines with minimal intervention, adding and taking away as little as possible – believing this to be the purest expression of the grapes.

And with each glass costing around the same, if not more, than a month of membership, you’re already saving money by becoming a member – and that’s without even mentioning the other 30 perks we’re showcasing this month.
