Two teenagers arrested after video appears to show woman’s drink being spiked
A video circulating on social media which appears to show a man dropping something into a woman’s drink at a nightclub in Bristol has led to the arrest of two 18-year-olds.
The video, which has been viewed thousands of times but which Bristol24/7 is not sharing for legal reasons, seems to show one man distracting a woman while dropping a white substance into her glass.
The man is stood to the left of the woman and a female friend, with the trio facing the camera as the man appears to almost imperceptibly drop the substance into her glass and then in the same movement reach behind her to grab a drink.

The two men who have been arrested on suspicion of administering a noxious substance both live in Gloucestershire, with the nightclub the video was filmed in believed to be in Bristol city centre.
One man in the video named on social media was alleged to be a student at UWE Bristol. But in a tweet, UWE said that “according to our records the person named in this video is not enrolled as a student at our university”.
