Unknown woman sought in hunt for Lewis Ball

By Bristol24/7  Saturday Feb 11, 2017

Police officers spoke to clubbers outside the Thekla on Saturday night to to see if anybody remembered seeing Lewis Ball leave the boat exactly a week before or see if anyone had any information as to where he might be.

It comes as police have also released a photo of a woman (above right) who they believe may have seen missing Lewis on the night he disappeared.

Officers involved in the hunt for the 26-year-old need the public’s help in identifying the woman as they think she may potentially have information which could be vital to their search.

The unknown woman was seen leaving Thekla at the same time as Lewis at around 3.20am on Sunday, February 5. Lewis has not been seen since.

As part of the investigation, police are continuing to carry out searches of the area around the Thekla both on land and in water, and are also reviewing a significant amount of CCTV.

Posters appealing for information have been put up and anyone who may have driven past The Grove or parked in the car park next to the Thekla and saw Lewis to get in touch.

Police are particularly keen for anyone who has dashcam footage of the night to contact them.

Lewis is described as white, 5ft 9ins tall and of slim build. When he went missing he was wearing a black jumper, black skinny jeans and brown ankle boots.

If you recognise the woman in the picture, or have any other information, please call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5217027202.
