.
“Don’t worry about me, mate, worry about yourself,” said the man being filmed after he was asked where he got the bike from.

The bicycle, a red Genesis Core-10, was locked outside Fopp on College Green between 4.45pm and 5.15pm on Easter Saturday.

It is owned by a 13-year-old boy who had gone to Fopp with his dad.

The boy’s mother, who posted the video, wrote about what happened: “A helpful passer-by challenged him and videoed it. Please feel free to share. Thanks!”

Anyone with information about the incident should call the police on 101, quoting incident number 5217084007.
