A brand new hotel concept will launch in Bristol on Saturday, December 8. The Village Hotel Club will bring its high‐tech approach, hotel and gym, flexible work spaces and premium leisure offering to Filton, the heart of Bristol’s technology and business hub.
The 30th Village Hotel Club to launch in the UK, Village Bristol has 153 stylish bedrooms connected with smart technology. The hotel will be the brand’s most high tech offering yet with every bedroom fitted with a virtual concierge, the Amazon Echo and Echo Dot. Tailored to the needs of modern workers and travellers, the new development also offers a unique hot desking Business Club, VWorks, creating flexible and convenient co‐working spaces for both small and medium‐sized businesses. Smaller meeting pods are also available to accommodate private meetings for just two to six people and can be hired for as little as an hour for impromptu get togethers and video calls. The hotel also offers large meeting spaces for up to 20 people, and their Inspiration Suite is an ideal event space for large conferences and events.

The dining room at Village Hotel
Jennie Steward, General Manager of Village Hotel Club Bristol, said: “Our technology solutions, the most advanced for any new hotel in the South West, are about enhancing the customer experience. From THE TRIP through to our in‐room experience and self‐check‐in screens in the reception area, we are focussed on maximising the time that guests have for leisure, while also making their business time more efficient in our work spaces.
“We want to create a place where people want to come and spend the day whether it’s to dine out, stay, work out or play. The hotel will be a thriving hub, every day of the week, for local residents, gym goers, the business community and guests for weddings, events and our popular live tribute acts.”
The new hotel opens as the hotel and health club chain announced a nationwide campaign, The Village Green, which will see the business roll out a range of charity and community initiatives across its 30 hotels, including in Bristol. This involves a huge commitment, announced by England cricket captain Joe Root, for Village Hotel Club team members to spend more than 30,000 hours per year volunteering in the local community. The Bristol hotel will encourage 10 employees per month to spend a day with any charitable or community project they wish. In addition, the hotel will dedicate one day per month to supporting local sporting groups or events and will also adopt a local charity for the year.
Jennie added: “As part of our dedication to being more than a hotel ‐ but a business at the heart of our community ‐ we will be inviting charities and organisations to use our facilities and work with us in partnership for the longer term and we’ll be announcing that as we open our doors in December.”
Guests staying at the hotel can choose a high‐spec standard room, or opt to upgrade to a Club room, which includes access to the Village Gym, classes, swimming pool and exclusive Village Business Club.
The new Village Hotel Club Bristol is located in Filton, a short drive north of Bristol’s centre, or 10 minute drive from Bristol Parkway station.
