Awards ceremony celebrate Bristol volunteers
Individuals and organisations working within the community, voluntary and volunteer sectors who all go the extra mile have been honoured at the 20th anniversary Annual Social Impact Awards, also known as the Voscurs.
The winners were given their awards by Dai Donavan and Jayne Headon Meldrum who were recently portrayed in the hit UK indie film Pride.
With seven categories from volunteer team of the year, to community venue of the year, the awards celebrate the best in volunteer work in Bristol.

“These awards shine a light onto the courageous, inventive and dedicated world of volunteers and voluntary and community organisations across the city,” said Voscurs chair Richard Pendlebury.
“This work is carried out by unsung heroes who commit time, effort and energy to ensure many communities and individuals who have been hardest hit by social and economic exclusion are both supported and empowered.
“Voscur has been championing their vital work for the last 20 years and we will continue to do so.”
