Less than 100 days to go until Gromit Unleashed 2

By Gabi Spiro-Larrea  Thursday Mar 29, 2018

Schools from across Bristol will be getting their paws on mini versions of the Feathers McGraw sculptures which will feature in this summer’s Gromit Unleashed 2.

The painted sculptures will feature in an exhibition at the Gromit Unleashed shop at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway during the trail, which is now less than 100 days away.

This summer’s trail between July 2 and September 2 will feature more than 60 sculptures of Gromit, Wallace and their penguin nemesis Feathers from The Wrong Trousers.

Supporting The Grand Appeal, Gromit Unleashed 2 is raising money for critically ill babies and children at Bristol Children’s Hospital and the special care baby unit at St Michael’s Hospital. Money raised will help to provide family accommodation, art therapy, pioneering medical equipment, family support services and more.

Helping bring this year’s trail to life in new ways featuring special sculptures with never before seen technology and innovation are Creditcall, Renishaw, Rolls-Royce and the University of Bristol.

More information about the artists involved this year and locations of each sculpture will be released over the next few months. Keep up to date with the latest news by visiting www.gromitunleashed.org.uk.
