The crash happened at about 10.45am, at the roundabout of junction 19 of the M4 and junction one of the M32.

Police closed the motorway in the area to allow emergency services to right the lorry, which was on its side on top of the car.

The stretch of motorway between junction one of the M32 and the M4 (northbound) remains closed (17.04). The southbound carriageway of the M32 is open but there are delays.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on the force number 101 and quote log number 263 of 13/1.
