Woman experiences hearing loss after firework exploded near her head
A woman in her twenties was injured by a thrown firework while she stood at a bus stop.
The incident took place at around 8.45pm on Friday.
She suffered hearing loss and needed hospital treatment after the firework exploded near her head on Broad Weir between Cabot Circus and Castle Park.

An investigation by Avon and Somerset Police is under way, including a review of CCTV from around the area.

It is believed two males were involved, but the force doesn’t have a description of them at this time.
Witnesses or anyone who thinks they can help identify those responsible are being asked to contact police on 101.
