Yacht with helicopter on board moors next to Brunel’s Buttery
An unusually shaped yacht with a roof-top helicopter used to be a luxury dining yacht in New York harbour.
You might recognise Miss Conduct from Sharpness in Gloucestershire where she had been moored and gathering rust since 2012.
Her current berth is in Bristol, ideally positioned for a bacon roll from Brunel’s Buttery.
is needed now More than ever
Miss Conduct has been purchased by two businessmen from Bristol who want to remain anonymous.
The pair want to make the boat their charity headquarters and support local causes.
In a statement, they said: “Bristol has been good for us and our businesses. We have been lucky enough to have had great success in Bristol and we want to give something back to the city in the form of what we are good at – a little glamour, fun, connecting people and lots of charity work for good causes.”

It’s a far cry from the 130-foot private yacht’s days as the Abigail K, which used to be docked at New York’s Skyport Marina and sail between New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
Abigail K was launched in 2003, and owned by catering and events company Abigail Kirsch.
According to BizBash, Abigail K was “furnished like a home, rather than a buffet cruise ship. Features include a teak bar, a glass-enclosed lounge with a piano bar and an open-air sundeck.”
Built in 1987 by Palatka Shipbuilders in Florida as a dinner cruise boat, her original name was Entrepreneur II.
