My Bristol Favourites: Nick Warren
Before becoming one of the first so-called superstar DJs, Nick Warren spun everything from dub and hip-house to house at Vision super-club in his home town of Bristol, out of which he was invited by Massive Attack to be their official tour DJ on their first major US tour.
Nick later became the resident DJ at Cream in Liverpool, provided acclaimed mixes and remixed tracks for the likes of Lana Del Rey. He is now the A&R of Bristol-based Hope Recordings and curates The Soundgarden, a Bristol-based independent record label and events brand who have been producing events around the world from beach parties in Ibiza to boat parties in Miami.
The Soundgarden’s first ever UK party is being held on the rooftop terrace of the Colston Hall on Saturday, June 30 from 3pm to 11pm, with Nick playing alongside Tripswitch, Bryan Silverstein and Andy Newland.
