Here are Anna’s top-five Bristol favourites:
St Andrew’s Park
“I went here a lot as a kid to swim in the paddling pool. Even now it’s still the perfect place, being just a few minute’s walk away from Gloucester Road, to go with a few friends in the summer.”
The Greenbank
“The Greenbank is one of my favourite pubs, withy such a chilled and friendly atmosphere. It’s a real community pub and also serves amazing food.”
Gloucester Road
“A road packed full of independent shops and quirky bars leading down to Stokes Croft and the city centre. It’s always a great place to start a night.”
The harbourside
“There is so much to do down there. It’s also another one of my favourite places to go in the summer. I love the rainbow houses on the hill in Cliftonwood as they remind everyone of Balamory.”
JP Destiny
“I love Thai food and JP Destiny on Kellaway Avenue in Redland is local and never lets me down. I go there way too often.”
