These are Carla’s top-five Bristol favourites:

Troopers Hill

“It’s really close to home and it’s just really easy access to green space. There is a little kids park and a forest area, and a great view of Bristol from the top. I love going there.”

St George Park

“St George Park is just a stone’s throw away from the store. It’s so nice to have another bit of green space in the middle of town. The park is really beautiful, with the lake, tennis courts, skatepark where my kids love; and of course close to your local shops.”

Poco Deli

“I love Poco Deli, one of neighbours on Church Road. I’m always there getting something for breakfast or something for lunch. They’ve got a really good vegan sausage roll. All the pastries are great actually!”

The Red Church

“I had my wedding dinner on the mezzanine of the Red Church, also on Church Road. I love their food and just thought, why don’t we have our reception here. It’s always really good fun and good vibes.”

Arnolfini

Arnolfini has some great exhibitions and there are always a few events going on there as well. It’s a nice place to take anyone who is visiting Bristol. It has a lovely environment, and they have a good selection of books and magazines in their shop downstairs.”
