King Street

“Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!” – photo: Martin Booth

“I love the sense of community on this beautiful cobbled pedestrian street, and it always feels busy and buzzy no matter what day of the week it is. Bristol Old Vic is amazing and you can always rely on the legendary Old Duke for a daily dose of great live music.”

Dean Lane skatepark

“All ages and all skill levels are welcome here, so it feels really inclusive and cross-generational. Everyone is always trying to reach the next level of skill and push themselves a bit further, so beginners and seasoned skaters are all in the same boat.”

The Christmas Steps pub

The Christmas Steps is by far my favourite Bristol pub to unwind thanks to its cosy, friendly atmosphere and gorgeous architecture, especially at this time of the year. I also love the fact that’s it a bit of a hidden treasure that’s tucked away at the bottom of Christmas Steps. You really have to seek it out.”

Hart’s Bakery

“The Emm office is at Temple Meads, so we’re very lucky to have Hart’s Bakery on our doorstep and they have been fuelling us all with their delicious artisan baked goodies! They’re an amazing team who are truly passionate about what they do, and Bristol is lucky to have them. ”

Leigh Woods

“Setting up a company is an intense experience, so when I need to zoom out for a bit I head to Leigh Woods for a wander with our team. It’s so beautiful and quiet, and it feels like you’ve left the city behind completely even though it’s so close to the city.”
