My Bristol Favourites: Layah Douglas
Since rising through the ranks of the Gas Girls development squad, Layah Douglas has become an integral part of Bristol Rovers Women’s first team.
At the beginning of 2023, Layah was appointed as a Show Racism the Red Card ambassador, with the charity calling her “a role model for young people who aspire to become professional athletes”.
Away from football, where she plays as a midfielder for Rovers, the 20-year-old studies criminology and law as well as working part time.
