My Bristol Favourites: Sharon Woma
Sharon Woma is the interim inclusion coordinator at the NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
She monitors and advises the CCG on its inclusion and diversity practice and helps to shape the organisation’s equality strategy and its related programme of work.
Sharon brings an entrepreneurial approach to the role and develops partnerships and shapes best practice with equality leads and staff networks in many organisations.

Bristol Ferry

My family and friends can’t leave town without a ride along the Harbourside in a Bristol Ferry taxi, it’s my go to “ta-dah” moment for everyone’s first visit.

This is a new find for me, how did I not know about the Bristolian before? I love the Belgian waffles and bacon with syrup.
Watershed

I’m a creature of habit, you can find me at the Watershed enjoying a burger in the cafe or watching a film.
I’ve seen movies I would not have come across otherwise, and they accept the Bristol Pound too. The Bristol Pound is very special to me as I was on the board as business representative for two years.

Who can resist a block buster, popcorn and soda for around £6? I love the Odeon on Union Street; there are lots of places to eat and drink close by, so it’s easy to make a night of it.
Bristol Old Vic

Bristol Old Vic is an asset to Bristol. Because of its size, it feels so intimate and its diverse offer means I get to experience a range of productions including ones from the African Caribbean diaspora, this makes me feel connected to the city and it’s a great place to bump into some of the inspiring and talented people from my community.
