Roger Moore’s Caribbean Cuisine

“Roger Moore’s is a Jamaican restaurant located on Hillside Road in Kingswood. It’s one of my hot spots to grab dinner on days when I’m too lazy to cook – which is often! Not only is the food yummy but I really like the atmosphere and the aesthetics remind me of my lovely island of Jamaica.”

“I am a lover of all things fashion, clothes and accessories. I like finding bits and bob that aren’t common and That Thing on Stokes Croft does amazing pieces. The store has their own line and they also house have independent, Bristol-based designers.”
Stokes Croft

“I don’t know any young person who doesn’t love Stokes Croft. It’s so busy and vibrant, especially in summer and it’s a sweet area for finding hidden spots to eat! I love the graffiti on the walls, different people on their daily journeys and the diversity of it all.”
Bristol Museum & Art Gallery

The Uncomfortable Truths project “seeks to uncover uncomfortable truths behind museum objects – how they were collected, what they represent and the difficult pasts that are hidden behind them” – .photo: Bristol Museum & Art Gallery
“History was my favourite class in school alongside religious studies. I love Bristol Museum & Art Gallery because I find its very informative on many different eras in time and subjects – it’s almost like a portal to the past. They have recently started a project called The Uncomfortable Truths, working with a diverse group of young people revealing how the objects in the museum were collected and their pasts. I am really invested.”
Bristol Bike Project

“The Bristol Bike Project is doing an amazing job by fixing unwanted bicycles for people who need them the most, such as ex-offenders and asylum seekers and, as someone who used to support ex-offenders, I have worked with them. They are doing great work within our community.”
