These are Tamsin’s top-five Bristol favourites:

Snuff Mills

“Snuff Mills is the best place for dog walks. I have a Spanish water dog who loves the river here as well as climbing through the forest and chasing squirrels. Hours and hours of doggo fun.”

Eat a Pitta

“Perfect for a quick munch. Simple and delicious. Great value for money and feels super healthy. Eat a Pitta now also has five locations around Bristol: the original in St Nick’s Market as well as Broadmead, Gloucester Road, Clifton Triangle and Clifton Village.”

Weston-super-Mare

“Okay, Weston-super-Mare is not technically in Bristol – but it’s close enough. It is the best kitesurfing spot; not the most picturesque water but the wind is fantastically consistent when it’s blowing and the locals are super friendly.”

Bristol’s underground waterways

“A bit of a secret spot but well worthy a visit if you have ways to get on the water, exploring by kayak or canoe. Scary, a bit eerie and very damp but feels like you see a whole new side to Bristol.”

The Orchard

The Orchard is Bristol’s best spot for a beer. Next to the marina and a popular boaty hang out, this cider pub has a great selection of ciders and ales. Small and intimate, they (used to) have a great blues night on Monday nights.”
