My Bristol Favourites: University of Bristol’s CoppaFeel! team

By Martin Booth  Friday May 10, 2019

The University of Bristol’s CoppaFeel! team have organised a variety of fundraising events throughout the year to encourage everybody to regularly check their boobs/pecs.

On Sunday, May 12, they are hosting ExhiBOOBtion at the Anson Rooms, featuring artwork from 40 artists to buy or win in a raffle with all proceeds going to CoppaFeel!.

Here are a few of the team’s top-five Bristol favourites:

Mrs Potts Chocolate House

“This amazing company has been very generous and collaborated with us twice to host a coffee morning offering their gorgeous sweet treats while we raised awareness of our cause. Mrs Potts is already a staple on Park Street and one of our favourite spots to go when having a break during the day.”

Clifton Village

“A quaint break from city life, Clifton Village is a beautiful setting especially during the summer where we can use the green space to relax. A favourite of ours is East Village Cafe, with coffee and cake becoming an important part of the day!”

Arnolfini Cafe-Bar

The Arnolfini Cafe-Bar has a lovely, mellow ambience, funky art, and great food. I like going there to get out of the university bubble.”

The Downs

“The view from the top of Whiteladies Road looking out to the rest of Bristol is breathtaking. From looking at the vibrant hectic life of the city centre, it’s nice to walk along the Downs as it becomes a reminder of home and a good way to clear my mind.”

St Nick’s Market

“An absolute gem in the city centre, it’s nice to buy and browse local businesses and indulge in the appetising food available from the stalls.”
