‘This is what a highly vulnerable person looks like’

A Bristol filmmaker has made a new video in the hope that people realise the severity of the coronavirus pandemic.

Cíara Hillyer, 27, has cystic fibrosis, is a diabetic, asthmatic – but does not let that define her.

“Even if you are not at risk of becoming seriously unwell, you could unknowingly pass on this virus to somebody who is vulnerable,” says Cíara.

Taking more than 25 medications a day means that Cíara does not have a strong immune system.

She stresses that we must all stay home and stay well.

She adds: “We must close the door on social interaction for a short period of time. By doing this, we will be taking care of each other.”
