Bristol to host Ireland vs Bangladesh T20

The Bristol County Ground will host international cricket during the May half-term break as Ireland take on Bangladesh in a T20 match.

The two nations will compete in a four-match men’s T20 International series that will see the third fixture take place in Bristol on Wednesday, May 27.

Fans of the Bangladesh cricket team previously showed up in their thousands to support their team who were due to play Pakistan in the 2019 Cricket World Cup in Bristol.

Will Brown, chief executive of Gloucestershire Cricket said: “The club couldn’t be happier to host both Ireland and Bangladesh at Bristol County ground once again.

“Both teams bring with them passionate supporters and we believe it will be a tightly contested match that will capture the attention of all cricket fans.”

Tickets will go on general sale from March 16 at www.gloscricket.co.uk/tickets
