Bristol Rovers mock City fans on World Book Day
Dressing up as Where’s Wally has become a classic outfit for children going to school on World Book Day.

“Happy World Book Day, Gasheads” tweeted the Bristol Rovers official account on Thursday morning, adding the hashtags #BristolRovers, #whereswally, #UTG and #WorldBookDay2023
It was the second of these which has incurred the wrath of both Rovers and City fans.
The official Bristol City FC Supporters replied: “This is proper odd…”
Twitter user Chipstead Gas said: “No just no, please stop”
Even Bristol comedian and actor Jayde Adams got involved, asking: “Is it meant to be a dig? Rovers calling City wallys? Don’t want to cast aspersions over either side but I know 5 year olds with better insults. If either club needs a roast writer, I’m available babe.”
