City fans mark start of new season at Flag Day
Police horses were used to clear fans from the road outside the Three Lions on Saturday afternoon at the end of an exuberant Flag Day.
The annual event marks the first Bristol City home game of the new football season.
Hundreds of fans gathered in front of the pub, with police on foot initially keeping fans off West Street before they spilled onto the road with smoke from red flares filling the air.
