Gas Girls to play Forest Green Rovers at the New Lawn
Bristol Rovers Women’s away match against Forest Green Rovers on Sunday will be played at the New Lawn in a top of the table clash in the South West Premier Division.
The Gas Girls have had an unbeaten start to the season, winning their three games so far and scoring 15 goals in the process, while Forest Green have won two from three.
The 5,000-capacity New Lawn in Nailsworth is the home ground of Forest Green men’s, who play in League Two.

The men’s and women’s teams at Forest Green are much more aligned compared to Rovers – whose women’s team is an award-winning initiative of Bristol Rovers Community Trust and staffed by volunteers.
Among the Forest Green squad is Hannah Thompson, who scored the first goal for the reformed Gas Girls in 2019 at Abbeymead Rovers:

Kick-off at the New Lawn on Sunday is at 2pm, with tickets costing £5 for adults and free for under-18s.
