Match report: Huddersfield Town 2-1 Bristol City

Famara Diédhiou’s late goal wasn’t enough to snatch a result at the John Smith’s Stadium, after goals from Chris Willock and Karlan Grant put Huddersfield Town on course for the home win.

Willock scored in the 39th minute when he cut in off the right and Grant made it a double blow from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute.

Famara Diédhiou pulled a goal back for the Robins in the 87th minute but it was too late for the Robins to salvage anything from the game in Yorkshire.
