Match report: Millwall 1-1 Bristol City
Pedro Pereira’s first-half strike helped Bristol City earn a share of the points against Millwall at the Den.
His hard-hit drive inside ten minutes got City up and running in an encouraging start to the game in the capital, only for City to be denied all three points in an improved second-half display from Millwall.
The leveller would eventually go down as a Tomas Kalas own goal after a ball across the box was bundled over the line with pressure from Matt Smith.

The result sees City close the gap between them and sixth-placed Preston to two points.
City head coach Lee Johnson called the draw a “valuable point”.
He said: “Overall it’s a good point in the league table sense and it’s a good point in the spirit of our game and our performance.
“We had a great start in the first 15 minutes where we dominated the game, scored a good goal – I’m delighted for Pedro because his attitude has been exemplary while he has been out of the team – and we continued that in the first half.”
