Match report: Stoke City 1-2 Bristol City
Two second-half goals saw City fight back against ten-man Stoke City and stretch their unbeaten run to six matches in the Sky Bet Championship.
A pinpoint effort from Sam Clucas beat Daniel Bentley to gift the Potters an early lead, before Joe Allen was dismissed for a rash challenge on Josh Brownhill at the bet365 Stadium.
Jack Hunt played his part in both City goals; the first a cross for Famara Diédhiou who headed City level as Lee Johnson’s side looked to capitalise on their extra man advantage.

And just after the hour mark, Tom Edwards was left red faced when he turned another Hunt cross over the line, despite Stoke’s best effort to clear.
“I thought we started really slow,” said City head coach Lee Johnson.
“Our first six or seven actions in the game played into their hands and gave them the impetus to get on the front foot and they scored a goal and deservedly so.
“There was a key match incident (Joe Allen’s sending-off) and I always fancied us to come good and the boys, to be fair to them, after a bit of a half-time livener, were excellent in the second half and managed situations really well.”
