Entries now open for 2021 Bristol 10k and Half Marathon
Entries are now open for the 2021 Great Bristol 10K and Half Marathon, which are both due to return to the city on the same day as part of a new event, the Great Bristol Run.
Organisers are planning for the events to be back this year following the 2020 cancellations of both due to Covid-19.
As a result of the ongoing challenges around the pandemic, this year – for the first time – both distances will take place on the day of the Great Bristol Run.

On Sunday, September 19, runners taking part in both races will as usual start and finish on Anchor Road close to the Jacob’s Wells Road roundabout.

Great Run Company chief executive, Paul Foster, said: “2020 was one of the toughest in memory, but the start of 2021 offers us a chance to get back on track.
“Our team has been working hard to put plans in place to deliver the Great Bristol 10K and Half in 2021.
“To keep runners and the local community safe, we’ll be introducing some new Covid-19 procedures. While the day might feel a little different, we hope that unbeatable feeling of crossing the finish line will be even more special this year.”
Early bird entry prices of £31 for the 10k and £41 for the half marathon is now available for this week only, before moving to the standard prices of £34 for the 10k and £44 for the half marathon from February 8.
