“I have been looking forward to this moment my whole life,” said Holly, who grew up in Westbury and attended St Barnabus Primary School

“To perform in front of a sell-out crowd for the Miami Dolphins will be an incredible honour and privilege.”

“Cheerleading is about physical and mental strength as well as agility and athleticism.

“We are truly ambassadors of the Miami Dolphins, not only cheering at the games, but also active in our community visiting schools and hospitals, and raising the spirits of our troops abroad.”

The Miami Dolphins became the first American football team to host auditions internationally to represent one of the most prestigious teams in the NFL.

Holly is hoping to be cheering on London-born Jay Ajayi, who looks likely to start Sunday’s match as a running back.
