Bristol gets its first padel courts

By Martin Booth  Friday Aug 5, 2022

The fastest growing sport in the world can now be played in Bristol.

Four purpose-built padel courts have been built at Lockleaze Sports Centre which gives anyone the chance to play the sport that is a cross between tennis and squash.

Padel4All promise that their latest centre offers “ultra-modern facilities in a fun, inclusive and friendly environment”.

Bristol’s first padel centre in Lockleaze has four indoor courts

And that was certainly the vibe on on a recent afternoon, which saw beginners take their first lesson on one court while more advanced players competed on another.

All padel games are doubles, which always makes the sport a sociable occasion; with the Lockleaze centre having sofas to chill out on between matches.

The official launch event for Padel4All Lockleaze is September 24, where there will be a day of celebrity padel matches, activity and entertainment.
