Bristol gets its first padel courts
The fastest growing sport in the world can now be played in Bristol.
Four purpose-built padel courts have been built at Lockleaze Sports Centre which gives anyone the chance to play the sport that is a cross between tennis and squash.

And that was certainly the vibe on on a recent afternoon, which saw beginners take their first lesson on one court while more advanced players competed on another.
All padel games are doubles, which always makes the sport a sociable occasion; with the Lockleaze centre having sofas to chill out on between matches.
The official launch event for Padel4All Lockleaze is September 24, where there will be a day of celebrity padel matches, activity and entertainment.
