Judd Trump wins first major title in eight years
Judd Trump is now one of the favourites for the World Championship in April after winning his first Masters final.
It was the Bristol-born snooker player’s first major title for eight years; a victory that sees him £200,000 richer.
Trump beat Ronnie O’Sullivan 10-4 on Sunday evening, with O’Sullivan only scoring 45 points in the first four frames and eventually suffering his biggest defeat in a triple crown final.

Trump’s parents and brother Jack celebrated with him after he was presented with the trophy:
“This is a dream come true for me and my whole family,” Trump told BBC Sport.
He added: “I have waited a long time for this it has been seven eight years since I last won a big one…
“You are always surprised when you have a lead against Ronnie at any point! But I was able to go out and play my normal game. The fans have been amazing.”
