Mini golf course to be built in Knowle West
People in Knowle West are being invited to join a new online club ahead of a mini golf course coming to the area later in 2020.
Those that sign up to Filwood Fantastic Mini Golf Club will be sent free craft packs, so that they can make bits of their very own home mini golf courses.
There will also be online clubhouse meetings, where members of the club can catch up with each other over some snacks before the club opens at Filwood Community Centre.
is needed now More than ever
Knowle West artist Megan Clark-Bagnall is the manager of the club, which she is calling “a bit of fun to pass the lockdown time”.
“I’m finding the evenings and weekends particularly hard at the moment, so this is designed to be something fun,” she says.
“I hope it will help people feel more connected during this trying time, and provide a bit of colour and comfort into the lockdown days.”

Filwood Community Centre will become home to a mini golf course later this year
Megan, who says she is a massive fan of mini golf herself, is hoping the club will bring the fun of the sport to people’s homes and gardens.
“Is it possible to play a whole round of mini golf without even leaving your house? Can our neighbours inspire us with top tricks for creating exciting obstacles out of old bits of junk?”
The club is funded by the Filwood Fantastic project at Filwood Community Centre, which is all about creatively enhancing Knowle West – with a mini golf course due to be built in the courtyard of the community centre later this year.
