Rainbow Run calls for volunteers

Rainbow Run, a 5km charity run on the Downs, is calling for volunteers to help run its main event on June 18.

During the run, which raises money for Children’s Hospice South West, participants are showered in colourful powder paint (thus, “Rainbow Run”). Around 2500 “rainbow runners” are expected to attend the event.

The money raised goes towards supporting local children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

The run needs volunteers for roles including marshalling, setting up before the event and packing down after the event. Volunteers must be over age 16.
