Ashton Gate to host England vs Wales in Women’s Six Nations
Several Bristol Bears players are likely to feature for both England and Wales when the teams play each other at Ashton Gate in 2024.
The Women’s Six Natures fixture will take place on March 30.
The same fixture in September 2022 – a World Cup warm-up game – saw England score 11 tries to win 73-7, becoming the first team in history to win 25 Tests in a row.
is needed now More than ever
Bristol Bears fly-half Holly Aitchison said: “Ashton Gate is an amazing place to play rugby and we’re all excited to be heading back there with the Red Roses.
“There is a great appetite for women’s rugby in the South West, something I’ve learned even more so since moving to Bears.
“The fans are brilliant and always turn out in their numbers for Red Roses matches across the West Country and we have no doubt that we’ll be heavily backed once again against Wales.”
Tickets for England vs Wales start from £5 for children and £15 for adults with priority tickets now available and general tickets on sale from Wednesday.
