Gavin Henson to join Bristol Rugby
Gavin Henson has agreed a one-year deal with Bristol Rugby and will join in the summer.
The 32-year-old arrives from Bath where he has made eight appearances this season. A British & Irish Lion in 2005, the midfielder has appeared 33 times for Wales, winning two Grand Slams.

“Coupled with his vast experience at the highest level, Gavin’s arrival will provide us with nous and versatility in our young and exciting backline.”
With a playing CV that includes the likes of Saracens and Toulon, Henson also won domestic titles at Ospreys in 2005 and 2007.
Henson, who is equally adept at fly half, centre or full back, said: “I’m looking forward to the opportunity of working with Andy [Robinson] and, once again, with Sean [Holley].
“Bristol is a well-run club with great facilities and a clear ambition for the future. I’m keen to play my part in that vision.
“I want to play rugby and focus on my game. The incentive for me is to show a positive attitude in a Bristol shirt and keep working hard on my performances.”
