Bristol’s cheapest pints
The Anchor
323 Gloucester Road, Horfield, BS7 8PE
Known for its student deals on cocktails and pints which are paired with 25p wings, the Anchor is a tough one to turn down.
You’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere with an atmosphere like it, especially for Champions League football.
With pints as little as £2 on student night and two beer gardens with screens and easy access to Stokes Croft by bus or e-scooter, it could be described as a no-brainer.

Fancy giving the lagers and ales a rest for a night and tucking into ‘West Country champagne’?
Look no further than the Cider Press. Further down Gloucester Road, it boasts a whopping 32 craft ciders.
Undeniably one of the best places to watch Six Nations clashes and meet other students, it’s a great place to get stuck in.

This Tardis of a pub can be found tucked away under the Arches.
Three heated gardens, pool table, juke box, dart board and live music make this the place to be if you’re looking for a lively kick start to your night out.
As ales are reasonably priced and vibes aplenty, make sure to get down before it’s packed out.

Wetherspoons
Various locations
We couldn’t call this article ‘cheap pints’ without a Wetherspoons.
V-Shed can be found at the Harbourside with its resident buskers. The Berkeley is at the top of Park Street, walking distance to the clubs on the Triangle. The WG Grace is found on Whiteladies Road and is a great spot for some beers after sport on the Downs.
In the Old City, there’s the Commercial Rooms on Corn Street and close to the Temple Meads is the Knights Templar.
There might even be a new Wetherspoons opening on Gloucester Road in 2022.
