Bristol24/7’s Student Guide returns for 2023

To celebrate the start of another academic year, Bristol24/7’s Student Guide is back and better than ever.

With a wealth of information on music, clubs, fashion, food and drink and wellbeing, it’s every fresher’s first port of call for getting to grips with our city.

The free magazine is brimming with content to get students pumped about the next chapter of their life – from local indie businesses, alphabetical pub crawls to unmissable events, alternative study spaces, our favourite cheap eats and top societies.

2023’s guide acknowledges the difficulties some students facing, as we tiptoe out of a global pandemic and into a cost-of-living crisis amid as well as facing university strikes.

We also touch on the importance of mental health and wellbeing during these times, and, of course, tips on how to save money.

So, read and learn – there is almost definitely no more comprehensive handbook to your time in this wonderful and wacky city.

The guide was co-edited by recent UWE Bristol media and journalism graduate Edie Attridge and University of Bristol third year Hope Talbot, with contributions from students from both universities as well as BIMM.

The Student Guide will be also available at UWE’s Freshers’ Fair on September 27 and Bristol Uni’s Welcome Fair on September 22.
