‘Homeless orgy’ in student flat goes viral

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Feb 8, 2023

A voice note has gone viral on social media of a University of Bristol student allegedly discovering a “homeless orgy” in her bedroom.

A voice note sent to a Snapchat group chat by a “friend of a friend of a friend” explained how a student had noticed a strange smell coming from her room every time she returned from university.

The smell got so bad that she installed cameras to find the culprit.

According to the voice note, “three homeless people were climbing through her window like clockwork every day” and having an “orgy” in her bedroom.

The girl, who lives on the first floor of a block of flats, sent photos to her friends, which were also shared on the Snapchat group chat.

A screen recording of the voice note was shared on Twitter with the caption “What the fuck’s going on in Bristol”.

The tweet has since racked up over 3,000 retweets and nearly 2,000 comments, with the story also being shared on Reddit as happening in Bristol.

It was also shared on an Instagram page, Overheard at UoB.

“You sure they weren’t Stoke Bishop kids? Same dress sense just different price tags x” one user said.

Another replied: “I have no words. none.”

Various different universities across UK cities are claiming the video as their own and an article by The Tab claims to have debunked the claim that the video’s location is in Bristol.
