Art Battle Bristol 5

Date: Friday, Feb 8 2019
Time: 7:00pm
Venue: Trinity

First Bristol battle of 2019 for this hugely popular live art event.

Twelve artists come together for an epic battle of creation where audience vote determines who wins the glory and moves on to the next round with a shot at the National Final.

Artists include Rosie Caley, who has left a full time career in Engineering to pursue art, and Tobyn Skinner who will “go anywhere to win” and describes his work as dark and disturbing. Plus a wildcard, drawn from a hat of audience members on the night.

All artists get the same Daler-Rowney paints, the same canvas, the same easel and the same 20 minutes to create whatever they want.

Liam Callebout, the winner of November’s Battle, returns as the feature painter and has the entire battle to create a work of their choosing.

All works created will be available for silent auction on the night, bridging the gap between creators and collectors, creating a supportive creative community, and allowing audiences to take away a part of the night to remember.

Fri 8, Trinity, 7pm-10.30pm. For more info, visit www.facebook.com/events/564522803959688 and artbattle.com/events/ab1717-bristol-8-february-2019 and see also Tickets link below.
