Digital Realities

Date: Wednesday, Jan 2 2019 - Sunday, Feb 3 2019
Venue: Tobacco Factory Bar

Solo show for Andy Sonar, a Bristol artist working in several disciplines.

This latest series of work is a reflection on the overarching digital view of life in the 21st century. The artwork explores the connection between what is real and the digital version of “reality” consumed on a daily basis. His paintings blur the lines of our daily experience of real and online life, which are perhaps so interconnected that they can seem almost indistinguishable at times.

A resident of south Bristol for 25 years, many of the artworks are based on photographs taken in the surrounding area. Numbered prints will be for sale and the original paintings open to offers.
