SPACEs reimagined

Venue: Kosar Contemporary

First exhibition at Kosar Contemporary, a new independent artist-led gallery based at Paradise Studios, Bedminster, part of an initiative by Gathering Voices called The Works, to create a new creative quarter for BS3.

A 6,000 sq ft ex-industrial warehouse has been converted into a new creative hub for contemporary artists studios and a spacious art gallery.

SPACEs reimagined will include paintings, sculptures, photography and multidisciplinary art works on the theme of the recycling of a redundant industrial space to an art space in the context of technological, political and societal change.

It’s the third group show by core-members of The Artist Project Space (TAPS). Artists: Helen Aklam, Jason Brown, Dean Coates, Bernhard Fairhurst, Andrew Neil Hayes, Béa Kayani, Antonia Klement, James Norman, Lisa Scantlebury, John Steed, James Vassallo.

Opening event Fri 7, 7-10pm. Exhibition continues Dec 8-20, Tue-Sun 11am-5pm.
