“We wanted the grit of 35mm film and the starkness of black and white to show a kind of truth to our work. No lighting, just what we saw through our lens and what you will see on the walls.

“With each of our portraits, there was no prearrangement, we simply stopped people on the street and asked if we could take their portrait.
“Our work is trying to find the art in that and we hope that it says something about the community and independent spirit of Stokes Croft.
Limited-edition prints and zines for sale, proceeds to Hamilton House and Coexist.
Aug 2-8, Hamilton House. Opening night Thur 2, 5-9pm. Exhibition then open Mon-Fri 9am-8.30pm & Sat-Sun 9am-4.30pm.
