Jamaica Street Studios: Open Studios 2019
Return of this ever-popular annula Open Studios event at the thriving Jamaica Street artists’ community.
New for this year is a revamp of JSS’s hugely popular Fundraising Auction. This year, instead of submitting miniature canvasses, the JSS artists have been tasked to make anything they want. You can start bidding already at www.32auctions.com/organizations/50048/auctions/61883. The live auction itself takes place on Sunday 16 at 5pm.
The weekend launches on Friday from 7pm, featuring a preview of the Open Studios plus cheap bars. Followed by party at Jamaica St Stores from 10pm onwards, with local DJs. Open Studios from 11am on Saturday and Sunday: explore the studios, meet the resident artists and discover new commissioned art-works.
