The Art of Recovery
Exhibition of life-size sculptures, created by military veterans from Bravo 22 Company (Bristol, Manchester, Brighton) – a group of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, veterans, reservists and their families.
Bravo 22 Company, a ‘recovery through the arts’ programme, is made possible by The Royal British Legion and The Drive Project. The programme aims to give service people and veterans new skills and experiences while improving confidence, self-awareness and motivation to support an individual’s recovery and the transition into civilian life.
Working with professional sculptor, Al Johnson, over a four-week period, the participants found a platform to explore their feelings about their present and their future.
