National Writing Day
To celebrate the inaugural National Writing Day, First Story and The Royal Society of Literature have teamed up to present acclaimed author Jonathan Coe for a reading and public talk on the value and power of writing. There will be a Q&A session with Bristol’s Nikesh Shukla at the end of the talk, and the opportunity for audience members to write something of their own.
The event is free and is open to writers and readers of all ages.
National Writing Day is a collaborative initiative between First Story and partner arts and literacy organisations across the UK. It is funded by Old Possum’s Practical Trust and Arts Council England.
