Official launch event for The Butcher’s Block (Silverwood Books £10.99), the latest instalment of the Dan Foster murder mystery series by award-winning Bristol author Lucienne Boyce. It is set in Georgian London and features a society in upheaval, with divisions between Britain and Europe, calls for parliamentary reform, radical politics and the plight of the underclass.
The author’s previous Dan Foster novel Bloodie Bones (Silverwood Books £10.99) was an award-winning success, collecting accolades including joint-winner of the Historical Novel Society Indie Award 2016, an Awesome Indies award, a Chill With A Book Readers Award and was Discovering Diamond’s Book Of The Month for January 2017. It was also a semi-finalist in the M M Bennetts Award for Historical Fiction 2016.
Lucienne will be reading extracts and signing copies of the novel.
