Lowkey and Jordan Stephens top the bill as Raise the Bar host a stunner of a line up for a celebration of poetry, rap and performance art.
Lowkey is one of the UK’s most celebrated and significant rappers, lyricists and political activists, his music gaining over 30 million YouTube views. For years Lowkey has dedicated his writing to protesting for humanitarian causes through topics such as Palestine, illegal wars, political corruption, Grenfell tower, and many more, most notably through his timeless album Soundtrack to the Struggle.

Jordan Stephens is one half of Rizzle Kicks (three UK top 10 singles, Platinum selling album), rapper/singer, actor, TV star, prominent public figure particularly around social stigmas such as mental health and toxic masculinity.
Leyla Josephine is UK national poetry slam champion, comedic Scottish poet and theatre maker with the ability to switch seamlessly to heartfelt emotive performance. Currently touring her show ‘Hopeless’ around the UK and Europe.
World poetry slam champion, Harry Baker is the author of The Sunshine Kid, celebrated and viral TedX speaker, one half of ‘Harry and Chris’ who have toured the UK twice and appeared three times on the Russell Howard Hour this year.
Melanie Branton is one of the South-West’s finest spoken word artists, multiple slam winner, hilarious performer and well-respected published poet, her most recent collection My Cloth-Eared Heart was published by Oversteps.
