“In the slam, poets will compete to be crowned the champion of Surge. Bring your best, your most brilliant, your beamish words and blow us all away! You have one poem and five minutes to impress the audience. Can you take home the glory?
“Or if you’re not feeling competitive, write something in response to the stimulus. Use the image, the words or both. Give us your weird and wonderful interpretations and see where you imaginaton takes you.”
