The Friends of Redland Library host their latest Desert Island Books evening on the theme of Books and Dissent.

Guests are: Professor Colin Davis (Chair in Cognitive Psychology, Bristol University, and member of Extinction Rebellion), Professor Peter Fleming (Professor of History, UWE), Tony Gosling (BCfm Friday Politics Show, Investigative Journalist, former BBC ) Professor Morag McDermont (Professor of Socio-Legal Studies, Bristol Univerity), and Jack Windle (Chair of ACORN Bristol + Independent Scholar).

The panelists will select one book on the main theme for the event; and a second ‘wildcard book’, a book that they have enjoyed and would recommend to others.
